There is a lot of hand work in the dovetailed drawers.
The sides are resawn, hand made paneling.            

WOOD ON WOOD....NO METAL DRAWER GLIDES...WE HAND MAKE ALL OF THE DRAWER GUIDES OURSELVES....ALL YOU FEEL IS THE GLASS SMOOTHNESS OF WAXED, WOODEN DRAWER RUNNERS.
         The drawers are center guided and side hung on handmade wooden runners and guides.               
They are meticulously fit for unsurpassed smoothness when opening and closing the drawers.

THE INTERIOR OF THE CASE IS REINFORCED WITH CORNER BLOCKS AT ALL THE STRESS POINTS....AND...ALL THE DUST PANELS BETWEEN THE DRAWERS ARE SOLID....AND....THEY ARE DOVETAILED INTO THE LEGS !!!...it's the real thing folks.....the way the best have been made for 500 years.
