WE CANNOT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH HOW DIFFERENT THE COLORS THAT WE ARE TRYING TO SHOW,
AND WHAT YOU ARE SEEING, MAY BE. WE HAVE 4 COMPUTERS, AND 8 MONITORS, AND NO TWO OF THEM ARE THE SAME. BESIDES THE USUAL ADJUSTMENTS ON THE FRONT OF THE MONITOR,
OUR ADVANCED VIDEO CARDS HAVE A HUGE RANGE OF ADJUSTMENT AND COLOR TWEAKING.
WE SEND ACTUAL COLOR SAMPLES AFTER RECEIVING A DEPOSIT.
THIS CHART IS THE ONLY WAY TO COORDINATE MONITORS FOR A PERFECT MATCH.
YOU NEED TO HAVE ACCESS TO AN ACTUAL COPY OF THIS TO BE CERTAIN OF ACCURACY.
THESE ARE USED BY GRAPHIC DESIGNERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, AND TELEVISION STATIONS
TO GUARANTEE ACCURATE COLOR.

How to use the Macbeth ColorChecker chart.
The chart provides you with an easy way to recognize and evaluate the many factors that can affect color reproduction.
To evaluate the effect of varying any given factor, you simply compare the chart's color image - photograph, television picture, computer monitor display or printed sample - with the actual ColorChecker. This comparison may be made visually or through measurements of optical density. (The ColorChecker is proportioned so that when its image fills the frame of a 35mm camera, the images of the individual color squares are large enough to measure with a densitometer.) |
